"Your mom should move to Erie."

"I should move to Erie."

"Yeah you should."

How can I possibly miss him so much when I just spent all of saturday with him? Fell asleep with his arms around me? Had him sneak out at 5:30am? Texted throughout the day on sunday?

How?

Nevermind this entry, you wouldn't understand anyway.

Filmex was first created to produce and distribute independent films (or "indies" if you will) back during the early nineties when indie films such as Gus Van Sant's My Own Private Idaho were the typical paradigm in which indies followed. New Line Cinema, an indie film distributor set up by the Warner Bros. Studios, distributed Van Sant's film. Each major studio at the time started minor distribution companies such as New Line once they noticed the growing popularity, as well as cost efficient revenue, of the indie film culture. Filmex however was the only distribution company that was not a spawn of a larger Studio. Founder's of the company Phil Salahuddin and his Mexican partner who wishes to remain nameless at all times combined their names to create the company's title in back in 1990 "Philmexica." It wasn't until four years later that they changed the name to "Filmex" after Phil's wife pointed out to him the charge of print for the company's t-shirts being ten cents a letter. At the time the Mexican partner pleased to be saving money, was also fearful the name change, so early into the company's life, could cause its demise. Luckily for Filmex the case was the opposite due to one fateful day when a piece of an office building owned by Macho Man Randy Savage fell eight stories onto Phil's knee, who had been sitting on a park bench below. The negligence case was settled out of court within a week. Macho Man had been recorded exclaiming: "Hot diggity damn!" when he not only avoided a messy lawsuit, but also landed the lead role in Filmex's fourth feature film It's Happening. After that, the company moved forward with their b-movie production line full force, and recently catching the attention of that aging hipster John Cusack.

All these issues and mixed up feelings. And I have to choose.

My heart hasn't stopped burning in my chest since monday.

I wish I knew what will come of this.

I wish we had a solution.

I wish you were here.

Take a shower, shine your shoes

"Turka turka *bite*"

"Cola *poke*"

"Then what happens?"

"I'll let you decide."

We went to the beach last night. Me and Dom, I mean. Stargazing, vandalism. We stole a 'park closed' sign, dragged it down to the bridge and threw it in the river, a protest against the county's lack of money and decision to close all the parks. That's Dom's beach. You don't touch that shit.

It was cold, so he gave me one of his cardigans before we went outside. Windy, so we chomped on some sand for a while, tried to talk out our love rhombus, but only incoherent ramblings came out. But no matter how jumbled it is, we always understand each other. Always.

We got back in, had a chat with his mum. She told me she loves my haircut and made us some tea. Then we grabbed a disney movie and headed back to my house to watch it. He only stayed until 11:15, since I was scolded for having him over for 24 hours only a few nights before. He felt terrible about that, and bought my parents an apology card. I gave him his cardigan back, but he asked me if I'd like to hold on to it for a while. 11:15 came around, so we headed downstairs to say goodbye. Its always been like that, we say goodbye, talk for a few more minutes, hug, say goodbye, he goes out the door and I do something silly while he drives away. This time our hug lasted for 20 minutes. He muttered some things to himself about cures for the problem and driving 100mph and throwing it out the window to melt. "I'll let you decide" he said. Then I kissed him. I KISSED HIM, and he kissed back.

I fell asleep clutching the cardigan close to me.
